amanda- newton studied light because it wsa god's creation, two elements water and light that are focused on in the book of genesis, check out americanbiblesociety.com so her point is that she studied water and light for her paper, is it possible taht the reason that god created these first is because we as human nedded things explained first as they are teh consistants in life, everything needs light and water to survive.

rosa- she made a fort, there was some rattles and a dingy sounds annooooooyingnow there is a kazoo what the fuck i don't get it oh my god why are you people laughing mine eyes are the glory.oh it was revelation

laura- last chapter we read of frye why did frye make her think, the bible is a poem and you should read as such, reading the bible as insistance as a work; the bible insists that it is all you can't refer outside of it, how reality continues beyond the bible in their own mind society must make their own interpretations

Newsboys - Belly Of The Whale LyricsUp

I've sunk this lowAs I walk the planktonInner

mouth...I'm sleeping with fishes here,In
the belly of the whale.I'm highly nutritious here,In the belly of the whale.Bad food, lousy atmosphere.I don't wanna bellyache. How long is this gonna
take?Woke up this morning kinda blue,Thinking
through that age-old question:How to exit a whale's
digestion? It might behoove me to be heaved.Head out
like a human comet.Hmmm... i wonder what rhyme with
comet.I'm sleeping with fishes here,In
the belly of the whale.I'm highly nutritious here,In the belly of the whale.I'm ready to reappear.I don't wanna bellyache.Lord, how long's this
gonna take?End times, they come rolling around.Enzymes, they come breaking us down to the core. The good
Lord grants we all get a second chance.I'm one
of the dishes here,In the belly of the whale. They
say I'm delicious here,In the belly of the whale.Lord, please make him chuck it all. It's a gut

the book of acts group 6

the gentleman built like a brick shit house gives us "acts in a nutshell" this seems to be a good idea although he speaks so quickly that i cannot understand the story asides from the obviuos like for steven that this man has, steven says that these men are stiffed necked with uncircumcised eyes and ears stevens ganna get stoned-- with a hooka-- But jesus is his cheerleader. then the narrator pulls up a rock and starts stoning the air. he lays a cloak at the feet of saul.

now there is a film about peter-- excelllllllllent

there are a lot of pagean skeptics that dsay that a redactor composed a book of acts. also they say that the only function of acts is portray a churches development. however.........

there is historical information that matthew and luke took these journeys. most of the things that happen in acts actually took place in the first century, according to archeaologists

a quote sherwin white, it's too long to write but it had to deall with the tones of cities and hllenistic religions and about missions the book was written for theophilis at the earliest the book was written in 62 ad. more than likely written on the road, obviously he had no deadline
AND LUKE IS PROBABLY A FEMALE.

overheads what a great technological advance, computers suck
god is a prison breaker, heis above the law i suppose
this group is really long and we haven't even been able to watch a video left, by the way frye can't be wrong and god can't be wrong so if they have opposing views either way is write. or is it right. or is it rite?

blogging while in class oct. 31 sisisi ahahah heheheheh cackling scream wtf

bye the byr everyone needs to work on the blogs
rhetorical function of the bible is KERYGMA is a proclaimation: the proclaimation is simply what one must do to be saved
what is that we have to saved from?
the bible is apparently related to the Helenistic religions, however they did not get the publicity of Christianity.
Mystery religions that involved with secreted initiation, also known as eleusisian mysteries, check this out at wikipedia, the article is very accurate according to Dr. Sexson. however, we need to watch for things on Wiki as there is a person going through it, rewriting with slight discrepancies waiting for us to correct him/her.

The Eleusinian Mysteries were annual initiation ceremonies for the cult of Demeter and Persephone based at Eleusis in ancient Greece. Of all the mysteries celebrated in ancient times, these were held to be the ones of greatest importance. These myths and mysteries later spread to Rome. The rites, cultic worships, and beliefs were kept secret, for initiation rites united the worshipper with god, and included promises of divine power and rewards in life after death.
Eleusis (modern-day Elefsina) was a small town located about 30 km NW of Athens. It was an agricultural town, producing wheat and barley.

The outline below is only a capsule summary; much of the concrete information about the Eleusinian Mysteries was never written down. For example, only initiates knew what the "kiste," a sacred chest, and the "kalathos," a basket with a lid, contained. The contents, like so much about the Mysteries, are still unknown, and probably will be forever.
However, Thomas Taylor writes that this Cista ("kiste") contained a golden mystical serpent, egg, a phallus, and possibly also seeds sacred to Demeter.1

[edit] Two Eleusinian Mysteries, the "Greater" and the "Lesser."
Taylor has written that "the Lesser Mysteries signified the miseries of the soul while in subjection to the body. The Greater Mysteries obscurely intimated, by mystic and splendid visions, the felicity of the soul, both here and hereafter, when purified from the defilements of a material nature and constantly elevated to the realities intellectual [spiritual] vision." He also quotes Plato who wrote that "the design of the mysteries was to lead us back to the principles from which we descended, that is to a perfect enjoyment of intellectual [spiritual] good". 1
The Lesser Mysteries were held in Anthesterion (March) but the exact time was not always fixed and changed occasionally, unlike the Greater Mysteries. The priests purified the candidates for initiation (myesis). They first sacrificed a pig to Demeter and then purified themselves.
The Greater Mysteries took place in Boedromion (the first month of the Attic calendar) and lasted nine days.

Kerygma revolves about the idea that you will be taking part in a life that might explode and it will reshape how you see, speak, and do things. therefore the proclamation that is involved is that your faith will be challenged at some point, and how you will deal with it.

we need to get off the literal line, remember that we must think of things in a biblical sense.

Why the books of job and ecclesiastes in the bible. Check out my next blog about the implications of that. forlornment and pessimism are my favorites.

carrie said nothing about Job when the Doc left the room, so the question became is there really anything about Job to be said.

does job stand up to an unjust God, or does he kneel and ask for forgiveness. is it possible that the book of Job was actually a greek tragedy, some say yes others say that the epi and prologue make it hebrew

Biblical humor, not many knee slappers, thank you Dr. Laura
check out the internet for more!!!!! funny as hell

equis- Shaffer was inspired to write Equus when he heard of a crime involving a teenage boy's apparently senseless injury to horses. He set out to construct a fictional account of what might have caused the incident, without knowing any of the details of the crime. The play is essentially a postmodern detective story, with the psychiatrist trying to understand the cause of the boy's actions while wrestling with his own sense of purpose.

this play is being redone in 2007 with harry potter and uncle vernon, check it out on wiki if you don't believe me!!!!!

is it ok to ? God good question

appaentlyrobin had a bad day, however she wishes not to talk about it, yet she wrote it on her blog so you should check it out, and always remember that bad things happen to bad people.

how do you talk about a God that allows bad things to happen to good people?

and as well we are all separated by six degrees. interesting to think that not only am i close to bill gates and i am also close to charles manson.

remember that all people have a scar that is showing of their 1000 shocks of life.

who is the archetype of wisdom, polonius of hamlet and hamlet himself, both inquire into suffering however neither follow their own wisdom.

book of ecclesiastes: the teacher's name is teacher

a phrase you should know for the test "the vanity of vanities is that everything is vanity"
this means that everyone is food for worms

job is all really a bet, satan and god bet that job will hate god if satan takes everything about him
therefore we will see if job can take this or not, are children property, therefore does this make job care less

job says naked came i from my mother's womb and naked will i return, the lord gives and the lord taketh away

remember the patience of job is a wrong reading of the book,

retributive justice: if you are good good things happen, if you'r e bad bad things happen

human kife is suffering, and old age doesn't last long

Blogging while sitting in class 10-3
Dr. sexson just read genesis 22 it is about joseph, and shale is like hades
judah and rueben according to Sexson is a redactor story where they are trying to place religions together. genesis 43 v27 asking about father still being alive, bringing out the pater ideal, joseph wishes to reveal to his kin who he is, however due to the story the author keeps him out of the loop. joseph was a diviner, this is why he holds his silver predicting cup, has cup put into saddlebag of younger brother. is this a test? daddy will be upset that youngest brother is being held by joseph, this is j's inimitable artistry, Judah steps up to the task of gaining back benjamin, judah plays god so that he finds pity, judah and benjamin kind of fight over who is to be taken and killed. j writeer has admiration for people that are willing to take blame. Joseph comes out that he is the brother of these men, and he wishes to see his father, have no fear joseph is here, god says i should see my father, however you should merely tell him that he has a son that is held high in egypt. weeping on necks is seen as a good thing, then life goes on.

this story alludes to the hebrews coming to egypt. jacob lived 147 years, read ch 49 carefully sexson says so, abstract, and metaphor. each blessing is strange and seems to mean something interesting and profound for each son, the father was then imbalmed. joseph could hold a grudge, however j beleives that cannot happen.

read exodus, a new king arises and has forgotten joseph

THE POST BELOW THIS ONE HAS PROFANE AND PROFOUND VERBAGE IF YOU DON'T WANT TO READ IT SKIP DOWN UNTIL YOU SEE A PICTURE
Parody of Ruth
The Judges ruled in a time of rather hungry people. Most of these people were smart enough to leave so that they could starve elsewhere. Among these people were Elimelech and his wife Imoan backwards and their children mahlon and Chilion, the soon to be fathers of all the Malcom’s and Chilean’s. At some point in the journey Elimelech was hit by a chariot while J walking and died. Soon Imoan’s children married some Moabite babes named Oprah and Ruth, who would grow to take over the daily life of stay at home mothers. About ten years later both of their husbands died in a bar fight with a man who would bare the Jerry’s and Maury’s of these some stay at homes. This left Imoan very lonely for as tradition says she had to hate being around her new Moab daughters.

Imoan and her Moab Daughters
Imoan was reading the Moab herald one morning and found that the Lord had placed several donations into the local food bank in the place of her birth. So she told her new daughters that they were catching a cab, which are still mostly driven by Arabs keeping hold of the heritage, back to Judah. Yet she then looked at them and told them go back to your mommy’s I don’t want you anymore you hussies. Everyone cried until Thomas came and announced his love for Kate which made everyone laugh. Then the young daughters overtook their mother in law and told her that they had to go with her, she told them no, God hates my guts, so Oprah went back to her mommy and ate several pints of ice cream. But Ruth clung to her mother as a child clings to her mother and said the following. I think I like you in a way that I should not, but it's ok cause Sodom already happened; do not turn me away because I want to bed with you every night and die where you do and kneel where you do and share men with you. When imoan saw that she was determined to stalk her she said no more. The restraining order would not go through. When they returned to Bethlehem the women were like Girl where you been, you moan better than all of us. And she said call me not by that name, I am now Mara, the one who made me moan is no longer with me.

Ruth Meets Boaz
Boaz was related to Imoan through marriage, so incest was not an issue.
One day Ruth wanted to go out and glean a man in the barley, and by that I mean she wished to go flirt with the first prick she saw. She walked around and found no men until she came to a part of the field that belonged to Boaz, there she found several men that were cut and cutting the field, she decided that if they looked that good they were probably gay. Boaz came out and asked the servant that led this gang of gang bangers who this hot chick was. Ruth saw this man and that none of the other men looked at him, so she knew that he was straight, therefore copulation could occur. She asked him if she could flirt behind his men and Boaz said sure, toots just go to the back of the line of ladies back there and have a good time. There was a conversation that proceeded with lots of connotations and round about flirtations, but a man of breeding, such as myself speaks not of such things. The time of the meal began, Boaz invited Ruth to dip her bread in a sour wine concoction, that was probably filled with roofies, then she went back to glean some more grain, behind the men, having a good time watching them. She went home and gossiped with her mother in law, what a fruitful gleaning it had been, for she believed that she made Boaz hard when she dipped his bread.

Ruth and Boaz at the Threshing Floor
Mara said to her daughter, “you need a man, toys only work for so long, Boaz is working on the threshing floor, he’ll be all oiled up and hot and you should wash your slit, anoint your breasts with that perfume I gave you and put on that slutty dress that shows off your legs, but don’t talk to him until he is done eating and drinking. When he lies down, go to where he lies, uncover his phallus and lie down, he will tell you what to do.” Ruth said unto her, yea I could go for a good lay. Ruth did all this, and I’ll be damned if Boaz didn’t wake up and he didn’t even try to touch her inappropriately. Instead, he wanted to talk and know her feelings, after learning Ruth’s intentions for that night, and knowing that she was looking for a husband, he decided that it would be ok to Get it on and be her Next of kin for the night. Then he paid her for her services with six measures of barley, much like a whore, hmm was that Ruth’s real job, and told her that no one could know that his seed was in the house of seed. Ruth went home and told Mara all that happened, and Mara said that’s good he’ll be itching for you by the end of the day.

The Marriage of Boaz and Ruth
No Sooner had Boaz got his pants untangled there came along a man who was his kin, soon after ten elders more came, instead of talking up his night before, Boaz asked the men if they were to buy the land that Mara owned, as it was their kins, so they could buy it. The men said, “I would but then I will have to marry Ruth, and she is Fugly!!!!” Boaz jumps on the chance and says “well if you don’t want the land I’ll take it hehehe.” Why’d you start laughing, oh nothing. So you all saw this he gave up his birth rite and I am taking it, I will marry Ruth because she is not fugly and felatio is wondrous when it rolls off her tongue.

So Boaz and Ruth were married and she conceived in the back seat of a car at a Creed concert the son we all know as Obed, which is why we now have sex in beds not cars.
